Privacy statement


The IET Organization falls under the responsibility of hockey club HOD Valkenswaard. We are involved in the organization of the HOD International Easter Tournament (IET), an annual hockey tournament for young people aged 14 to 16 years. In order to do this properly, we need your personal data. You can be confident that we handle your data safely and carefully. On this page we explain how we do that, for which we use your data and what your rights are.


Your personal data

Personal data are all data that can be traced back to one person. For example your name, e-mail address, telephone number and account number.


Categories of personal data

We divide the personal data into 2 categories:

  1. Name and contact details: first name, last name, e-mail address and telephone number;

  2. Payment details: account number.


Goals for the use of personal data

We only ask for your name and contact details if you register with us. With this information we can contact you about possible participation of the team you represent. As contact person of the participating team we use your name and contact details and possibly your payment details. We need payment data for the administrative handling of participation. In many cases this will concern the payment details of the association and therefore will not be covered by personal data.


We also request name and birth dates of all participating players. We use this information to check whether participants have the right age to participate in our tournament.


Sharing your personal data with other parties

We will not provide your personal data to other parties without your consent.


Security of personal data

You can be confident that we take appropriate measures to protect your personal data against loss, unauthorized access, publication and unlawful processing. This way we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to your data.


Retention period of your personal data

How long we store data depends on the type of data and the purpose for which we use the data. Of course we never store data longer than necessary and/or legally permitted.


Your rights in the processing of personal data

It is your right that we protect your privacy well. In addition, you have these rights:

  • Right of access: you may view the personal data that we process from you;

  • Right of correction: if the personal data that we process from you is not correct, you may have it adjusted;

  • Right of removal: if we no longer need your personal data for the purpose we asked it for, you may ask us to remove it.

Image right

During competitions, training and hockey related activities during IET, action pictures and atmospheric images are regularly made, on which participants of IET or visitors are present. These images can appear on IET's website, Facebook and/or Instagram page. If there are objections to this, this must be made known by e-mail to The relevant image material will then be removed.
